My name is Brandy Dobbs. I am a lifelong resident of Sequoyah County. My family has been serving Sequoyah County for many generations. My great grandfather was Dr. Walton W. Breedlove D.D.S. and my great great grandfather was Dr. J.A. Cheek M.D. Both served as physicians in Sallisaw in the early 1900's. My great grandmother, Lena Lou Cheeck-Breedlove was the May Queen of Sallisaw in 1922. My great uncle was Dr. James W. Breedlove D.D.S. and his sister, my grandmother, Ruth Breedlove Knight was a Sallisaw graduate of 1955 and taught Home Education at Sallisaw High School from 1970 until 1983. My mother is Karen Kaye Kenther-Hiser. A Sallisaw graduate of 1978 and resident of Sallisaw until 1993. She recently retired after serving 30 years as a surgical technician in Henderson Kentucky.
I graduated High School in 1997 and went on to further my education at Carl Albert State College. For the next several years I was fortunate to have worked for Valley Land Title under JJ Hight. With his leadership is where I learned so much about real estate, legal descriptions, abstracting, title laws, mapping etc. I have made and continue to make several business colleagues along the way including realtors, bankers, mortgage lenders, surveyors, appraisers, insurance agents and other county and city officials as well. I've taken all of those experiences and relationships over the last two decades to help build and develop the person I am both personally and professionally. I have always prided myself on being attentive and goal oriented. I'm not afraid of a challenge and I'm ready to solve any issues that need attention. I have worked in the assessor's office for the last six years. I am a fully accredited member of The Assessor's Association. I am extremely blessed to be able to serve my community.
