NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS

Personal Property Renditions will go out in January 2023. If any renditions are not received on or before March 15, a mandatory penalty will have to be added to the Personal Property Account. If the Postmark on the envelope is on March 15th, it will not be counted as late. However, after March 15th, a 10% Penalty will be added, and then after April 15th, the penalty will be 20%. Per OS68 Sec 2836(d).

Filing period for ALL Exemptions from January 1, 2023-March 15, 2023. Income for ALL household members is required for Senior Valuation Freeze & Double Homestead Exemptions. Senior Freeze income guideline is $62,600 for 2023 tax year.

Visual Inspection Area for 2023 will be Vian-Gore area. Please be kind to the Deputies, they are doing their jobs. See Statute OS68 Sec 2820


March 15

Personal property renditions are due.
After March 15th a 10% penalty applies.
After April 15th a 20% penalty applies.
